Ahlum & Arbor Tree Preservation, a division of Arbor, Inc., is a family owned full service arboricultural firm, offering both residential & commercial tree care services. Active in the central Ohio area for 30 years, the company was founded in 1976 under the name of Arbor, Inc. by David R. Ahlum. The business name was changed in 2002 to distinguish us from other companies who began to use “Arbor” in their company names. David, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a major in Landscape Horticulture, is now a Board-Certified Master Arborist. In recent years Chris Ahlum, Dave’s son, joined the business full time and offers another dimension to the services offered, not only is Chris a graduate of The Ohio State University and an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist, he is a registered ASCA (American Society of Consulting Arborists) Consulting Arborist.
