ISA Arborist Certifications

Learn about the certifications that make our team so special.

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) rewards the certifications of a certified arborist to individuals that have substantial experience in the field and pass a written and/or practical examination. Maintaining these credentials requires obtaining a required number of continuing education units (CEUs) within a specified period or periodic re-training.

At Ahlum & Arbor we are proud to invest in our team members’ training and development through their arboriculture career. Take a look at this comparison of the ISA certifications held at Ahlum & Arbor versus state and worldwide:

Arborists who seek certification in their area of expertise, at the very least, demonstrate a willingness to adhere to industry standards of tree care by offering up-to-date, expert practices to their client base.

Not only does Ahlum & Arbor maintain these ISA certifications, but there are additional training/overseeing/licensing entities that have a positive influence on tree care practices, such as the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA), Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), and the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA). Many of our employees maintain various certifications from these organizations as well.

The combination of decades of practical experience caring for trees in central Ohio along with the continued emphasis on education ensures that our clients can trust our recommendations for tree care.
